Work:
Incase you're wondering, that would be a broken femur. Works pretty freaking time consuming at the moment. I'm getting well acquainted with 24 hour shifts in which we're either running our asses off in the rig (ambulance) or getting overloaded with ER patients. Unfortunately... or fortunately[?] in our hospital our Emergency department is staffed by the on duty EMT's/Paramedics. I'm going to school to get my full paramedic but at the moment I'm certified as an Intermediate level provider. ( I can start IV's and stuff
School:
Not much I can say here. Been a long road but I finish in February. Between work, clinical time ( basically working at a paramedic level but not getting paid for it ) and family time I'm fighting to find time for studying for practicals and my written exam. Much less time to play. Which I just got a new toy which I'll talk about shortly
So with all my time being eaten away with class and clinicals I'm DEFINATELY ready to get back that extra time. fun fact: Between work, class and clinicals I'm putting in at least 76 hours a week. Some times more.
Play Time:
Ahhhhh yeah! Play time is getting closer and closer! In preporation I've added a new member to the family. Consider it an investment in home security if you will.
